Hakan is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Princeton University. Prior to joining Princeton faculty, he received his undergraduate degree in Physics from Bilkent University and a Ph.D. in Physics from Yale University in 2003. After postdoctoral work at Yale and ETH Zurich, he joined ETH Zurich as an Assistant Professor of Physics.  He moved to Princeton University in 2010.
