About
Bio/Description
Hakan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University. Prior to joining Princeton faculty, he received his undergraduate degree in Physics from Bilkent University and a Ph.D. in Physics from Yale University in 2003. After postdoctoral work at Yale and ETH Zurich, he joined ETH Zurich as an Assistant Professor of Physics.  He moved to Princeton University in 2010. His research broadly revolves around non-equilibrium dynamics in classical and quantum collective systems, with a particular focus on superconducting quantum circuits and linear and non-linear optical systems.
