Although interested in almost all things quantum, currently my research focuses on computing and learning with quantum systems. In particular, I am interested in how concepts and methodologies from physical neural networks can be applied in quantum sensing tasks in the finite sampling regime. I obtained my Phd from Univesity of Ulm working in the group of Prof. Martin Plenio where I focused on metrology with open quantum many-body critical systems and possible implementations in trapped-ion hardware. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, swimming, modern art and philosophy.
